In two previous postings I discussed the collaboration between Obama and Wright to get the "Wright Issue" out of the media. No talk show or any conservative pundit is even considering that there was collaboration between the two camps. I told conservative and moderate Blacks who look to me for political commentary after the last week's Obama's "see the light" speech that we would not hear from J. Wright until November 3, 2008 when Obama has been elected.

 

I ask reasonable people to think about it. Why haven't we heard from Wright since the Press Club and Obama's disowning him? This issue was killing Obama in this race. He was losing the White vote from men, women and Reagan Democrats. He was bleeding very bad. In order to stop the bleeding Wright's name had to be taken out of the picture. They did what any egocentric politician would have done. They did what any Clintonite advisor would do. They did what they had to do to get this man elected and that was to collaborate with Wright as a good television series or movie and that would be to get Wright to go public, state the same things he has in the past about America to give Obama the opportunity to speak publicly against him and talk about how much he loves America.

 

After the speeches, the Obama's and his team would cover the media and say, "We don't want to talk about this anymore, the American People are tired of hearing about this and we want to talk about..."   They have succeeded and no body's listening. Why can't we see this is a great strategy? Why can't we believe that the money people and the powerbrokers seen that this man was going to lose if they did not come to his rescue?

 

Ladies and Gentlemen, this is scary that our country is going to be in the hands of people who will do anything to win.

Many are being deceived with the Obama "Divorce from Wright." However, I want to go on record by stating it is a strategy. Obama and his Clinton team looked at their polls and seen how Wrights comments (not the most recent) were causing Reagan Dems and Whites to move away from him. I ask you to think how Bill Clinton woud have handled the situation if he were Obama? He would have his saragots meet with the Wright team and explain what has to happen. He would explain that that the most important thing interfering with Obama being elected is America's dislike and disapproval of Wrights statements. Therefore, Obama has to come out this time dis-avowing any further relationship with Wright.

You don't throw 20 years of friendship out the window so easily. Barak has become a politician and he and those around him including the drive by media will do all they can to get the White House. Notice the CNN two programs on Mrs. Obama last night. First the profile and second the interview. She refused to say anything about Wright. Their polls have shown that Mrs. Obama is not well liked by women and many White men. By the way, Black men are also unappreciative to her hardness in tone and the way she wears her clothes. I heard my wife say, "she needs a wardrobe manager."  However, everyone is afraid to say something to her about her appearance. 

 

Finally, you will never hear anything else from Wright except, he is hurt and wounded about this issue.

It is amazing how many people in the media are missing the point with the Pastor Wright's PR campaign. It makes a great deal of since for him to be encouraged by the Obama campaign to have him speak out at this time. Obama feels that he has this election won and his internal polls are showing him that he cannot lose next Tuesday's primary. Therefore, if Wright speaks his beliefs and hatred out at this time it will be better than after he receives the nomination.

 

I do believe that Obama and his wife, believes much of what Wright is saying. They like others in this country feel that racism is what's keeping Black poeple back and they want to make white people feel guilty about the past obstrocities. When you listen to what Pastor Wright is saying out of his own mouth during this PR trip, he is blamining American and Whites for all that is wrong around the world. He even blamed Whites for his complextion. I understand as a Black man what he means. He looks at how many White slave owners raped Black women who the owned and thus the lighter complextion Blacks have somewhere in their past a White father. However, what he does not state is how he and Obama have had many advantages that dark skin Blacks have not. This remains an argument in the Black community. It is interesting that Pastor Wright never puts the blame on us a people for problems from slavery through today.

 

What is surprising to me is how Blacks are quiet on this man's hatred speeches. Yet, I do understand that if a Black speaks up, they will be called an "Uncle Tom" or "The White Man's Fluncky." If a White person speaks out, they are called "racist."  This is one blogger that will speak out on the issues every day.
